Our Philosophy
Dr. Ahmad's treatment plan consists of:
Comprehensive diagnosis
Treat major symptoms immediately
Prevent further progression of disease
Individual plan of diets, herbal formulas, acupressure/acupuncture, and lifestyle changes for health, longevity, and beauty
Dr. Al Ahmad's goal is to provide a comprehensive diagnosis and analysis of each patient's health. People who are healthy can also benefit by knowing their subtle imbalances and thus take preventive measures to stay healthy while slowing down the aging process.
A Complete Health wellness Analysis
Dr. Ahmad has formulated a new way to evaluate a person’s health. He has devised a program called Complete Health Wellness Analysis. He uses Oriental Medicine, Ayurveda and Western Medicine concepts to get in-depth information about a patient's body and mind to help find the individual constitution. Then, Dr. Ahmad formulates effective health solutions using dietary changes, exercise, relaxation methods, and medicine for achieving total well-being and body health.
Preventative Health
An important aspect of Dr. Ahmad's medical philosophy is preventative care. Preventative health can be described as the measures taken to avoid the disease and illness that accompanies unhealthy lifestyle choices, as well as the natural aging process. In order to prevent disease and illness, Dr. Ahmad customizes a health program for each patient using several techniques from Oriental medicine, Ayurvedic practices, and Western medicine.
Each components of his preventive health care program works to stimulate healthy organ function, strengthen the bones and joints, and relieve anxiety or other states of mind that inhibit total body health.
Many overlook the importance of preventive medicine. It is better to prevent illness, rather than deal with it later. Treating an illness reactively has definite physical, emotional, and financial costs - costs that could have been avoided if preventive care had been a priority.
Achieving Optimum Health
Dr. Ahmad's hope for each of his patients is that they will achieve optimum health under his care. Optimum health is best described as the state of complete and total body health; where body, mind, and spirit are nurtured to the utmost. To achieve optimum health, preventive care is absolutely necessary.
A health program that emphasizes optimum health will include acupuncture, dietary therapy, herbal therapy, and physical exercise. For example, the combination of acupuncture and herbal therapy aid in lower cholesterol and increase circulation throughout the body. Acupuncture and herbal therapy can also be used to increase intelligence and enhance mental acuity. In addition, acupuncture is an effective technique in stimulating the organs to function efficiently. Nutrition and herbs work together to slow bodily aging, while physical exercise will strengthen the bones and joints. Individually, each of these services has its own health benefits; however, when used together, optimum health can be achieved.
